The second year of The Olga Havel Foundation's Goodwill Run brought CZK 308 942

The second year of The Olga Havel Foundation's Goodwill Run was really successful. Over 400 runners came to the Hvězda Forest in Prague 6 on the afternoon of September 10th and supported families in need.

Thanks to them, we managed to collect an amazing amount of CZK 308 942, including the content of the money boxes from the event venue and the result of the Help by Moving application of the ČEZ Foundation.

We thank our patrons: javelin thrower Petr Frydrych, ultramarathoner and running teacher Miloš Škorpil, runner Jana Nosková, The Olga Havel Award holders Martina Půtová and Tereza Nagyová and others who supported our run with their participation. In addition to the entry fee, it was also possible to support families in need through the Help by Moving application of the ČEZ Foundation.

Families with children enjoyed a lot of fun, when they could see an exhibition about Olga Havel, take pictures in a photo corner with Olga and Vaclav Havel, and also tried a javelin throw with Czech Olympian Petr Frydrych. There was also a handbike and other sports equipment of the Sports Club of Wheelchair Users in Prague. At the Burn Fighters booth, people were able to find out a lot of information about helping people with burn injuries.

Refreshments were provided by the stands of Homeless Cooks, Neratov Brewery, Slunce Bakery for all etc.

We also thank all our partners - MCAE Systems for printing 3D medals designed by a graphic designer Zuzana Drotárová, Bona Foundation for trophies for winners, as well as for Sportobchod, Café Fejeton, Neratov brewery, Grada publishing house, Monument of National Literature, Dinotoys, Stopnito, which provided registration, and the City District of Prague 6. It gave the event its patronage and included it in the celebrations of 100 years of its existence. The opening of the event in the Hvězda Forest was also attended by the Deputy Mayor of Prague 6 Jan Lacina.

The media partner of the run is Radio 1.

We also thank all the volunteers who helped to ensure the smooth running of the race and all our supporters. As last year, our thanks go to presenter Karel Diviš for moderating this event.

We thank you and look forward to see you again next year!
