In the framework of the grant program Senior the Committee of Good Will - Olga Havel Foundation contributed to the project "A carriage for patients in the Bohnice Psychiatric Hospital".
A barrier-free carriage opens a new possibility of hypnotherapy to less mobile patients – e.g. seniors who depend on a wheelchair. "We believe that the activity with a horse and a change of surroundings will distract patients from the hospital stereotype, free them from thinking about their diagnosis, bring them joy, relaxation and rest in nature and put them in a good mood," representatives of the hospital wrote to the Foundation. Passing of the carriage was held within the harvest home on a farm belonging to Bohnice Psychiatric Hospital, during which a carriage test drive took place, too. The representatives of the Foundation then donated a photograph that shows Olga Havel passing the first horse suitable for hypnotherapy to the hospital in 1992.
