Quinta-Analytica donated CZK 100,000 to the Committee of Good Will - Olga Havel Foundation to support children with cerebral palsy. The funds will help families caring for a child with a neurological disease to pay for intensive therapies, called neurorehabilitation, which are of great importance for improving health.
"In these times of wars, pandemics and energetic uncertainty the general public is more aware of the needs of their closest ones, the value of healthcare and the importance of day-to-day solidarity between individuals, families and organizations” said Mr. Roman Grunt, CEO of Quinta.
Rehabilitation is costly and unfortunately not fully covered by health insurance companies. Moreover, it is essential to repeat intensive therapies during the year.
In addition to representatives of Quinta-Analytica and the Committee of Good Will - Olga Havel Foundation, the check presentation was attended by the head of the neurorehabilitation clinic, Jarmila Zipserová, M.D., and her colleague Pavel Týč. The sharing of their long experience reinforced the fact how crucial it is for children with neurological diseases to undergo rehabilitation on a regular basis, but at the same time how difficult it is for parents to find sufficient funding.
Quinta-Analytica's donation of CZK 100,000 will help up to six families who cannot afford to pay for expensive treatment. In addition to finances, such help is a great moral support for the families because they see that they are not alone in their problems.
