If you know anybody among your family, friends or colleagues who, despite his/her handicap helps others, you can suggest him/her for this award.

Both citizens and organizations can nominate a candidate on the www.cenaolgyhavlove.cz website between January 31 and April 10, 2017.

After this date a jury will decide the winner of the Olga Havel Award for this year. The name ot the winner will be announced at a gala evening on May 29 in the Czernin Palace in Prague.

For the first time this year, the public has an opportunity to choose its own candidate for the Public Prize through online voting on the www.cenaolgyhavlove.cz/seznam website. Online voting starts on April 19 and lasts till May 15, 2017.
