Throughout the 2015, our Foundation experienced both bitter and sweet days. After all, we do not live in isolation and we share the world’s destiny with other fellow citizens.
It was a year full of memories brought by the commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the OHF. A movie about Olga Havel was released, and the Velvet Havel performance was held at the Divadlo Na zábradlí theatre in September. Already for five years we have been touring around Czech cities with the Olga Havel photography exhibition. During the All Souls Day we remembered all our establishers and employees who passed away during those 25 years.
Our office, located at Senovážné square since 1992, still attracts attention of people who want to contribute by donations or voluntary work, the Friends of Good Will Club is growing.
It is difficult to single out just one of our projects and to put it forward as our priority. Would it be it the Education Fund? Senior? Sport for charity? The Fund to Help Children with Cerebral Palsy? The Sasakawa Asthma
Fund for children who suffer from allergies? The Salzburg Medical Seminars? The Olga Havel Award and Olga Joklová, a brave laureate for this year?
I’d like to thank all my colleagues who have created a stable and reliable team and performed in an excellent way. Thanks to them the Foundation thrives.
I send my immense gratitude to all our donors and partners, to whom we commit ourselves to use their donations in a proper way, as well as to those who give us a free hand. We act responsibly both towards the donors and to the ones who apply for our financial help. We know that we all take care about our common home together. And the way we live matters a lot.
Dear friends and readers, may you stay healthy and strong throughout the Year 2016. And may your good will return to you!
