Accept our invitation to the launch of a charity calendar with photographs of Olga Havel, which will include a screening of photographs by the author, Bohdan Holomíček. The ceremony will take place on Monday 31 October at 7 pm at the Václav Havel Library.

The 12 photographs capture extraordinary moments in the everyday life of Olga and Václav Havel. The charity calendar prepared for 2023 on the occasion of Olga Havel's 90th birthday will be christened by Karel Schwarzenberg, Anna Freimanová and Monika Granja.

"Bohdan Holomíček is a rare phenomenon of Czech culture. A photographer of friendly encounters, capturing positive situations, moments of grace, glimpses of love with the magical contribution of light." This is how the now legendary photographer Bohdan Holomíček was described by the critic and photography theorist Anna Fárová. He is neither a photojournalist nor a documentary photographer - his pictures are more personal and in sum create a monument of extraordinary moments of everyday life.
