Golfers supported children with cerebral palsy for the third time

More than 50 players took part in the third year of Good Will Golf, which took place on Wednesday 22 June at the Panorama Golf Resort in Kácov. After paying the entry fee and fines for bad and too good play, they contributed CZK 185,600 to families caring for children with cerebral palsy.

A big thank you to aeqoom technologies for organizing the charity tournament and to all the players who made it possible for the Foundation to pay for neurorehabilitation for the families in need. These special movement therapies are not fully covered by health insurance companies, although they significantly improve the health condition of children with neurological diseases.

"Really amazing, thank you all so much. Last year, thanks to Goodwill Golf, we helped pay for movement therapy for eleven families. This year there will be one more," said Monika Granja, Director of the Good Will Committee – Olga Havel Foundation. "I am glad that we could meet here again after a year and do something for a good cause. Thank you all very much," added Radek Hradil, director of aeqoom.

"I have been helping people who were not lucky enough to have healthy children for a long time. I enjoy it and it always makes me feel great. For me it's a small thing, for them it's often a big help. And I also really like this tournament. That's why I played it for the third time, and why I contributed an amount starting with the number three. So next year I will have to start with four," said Martin Bednar, who contributed the highest amount to the tournament.

Many thanks to the general partner, aeqoom and director Radek Hradil, all the tournament participants and the organizers from Putt PD.

Thanks to the two previous editions, whose proceeds amounted to just under CZK 300,000, the Foundation was able to support over 20 families caring for a child with cerebral palsy.

„We wish that the right for dignified life is also enjoyed by those who live with handicap or mental illness, abandoned and old people, those who have a different skin colour or a different way of life, those in poverty or attacked by a malignant disease.“ Olga Havel
