The Olga Havel Award was presented on 14 May 2007 under the auspices of Dean Václav Havlíček of the Czech Technical University in the auditorium of the Czech Technical University – Bethlehem Chapel in Prague 1 to Jiří Herynek, founder and director of the ERGOTEP social company in Proseč u Skutče.
The Olga Havel Award – Olbram Zoubek’s bronze statue Encouragement – was presented by Dana Němcová in the presence of former President of the Czech Republic Václav Havel and board members Ivan Douda, Vladimír Hanzel, bishop Václav Malý and Milan Tománek, plus senate vicechairper-son Jiří Liška and other important guests. The ceremony featured a performance by Musica ad tabulam and the Bambini di Praga choir with conductor Blanka Kulínská, accompanied by pianist Ludmila Čermáková. The event was hosted by Bára Štěpánová.
